Kosovo's north riots are destabilizing businesses

Ramiz Gashi, owner of a local production company, says that due to riots in the northern part of Kosovo, there is a deadlock in securing raw materials and transportation. This is not only about us as producers but also about economics, but it's about poor unrest that means even in this case [...]
This not only affects us as producers that we are but also in the economy affects the unrest for the worse, and in this case the unrest in the north has a great sense of beauty, given that exports too many times even run through Mitrovica because the transporters as the road as free and that has affected because they are not having full security. There are delays due to the first launch.
Even Ayazi Musliu, another Kosovo businessman, estimates that political unrest in the country is negatively reflected in attracting foreign investment to Kosovo.
And we as producers have a pretty good sense of that negative thing, because at the whole of our production, we have international transportation for European states, and I was personally in Germany these days, and that is very bad. I even had a meeting with a partner who expressed a desire to come visit us, but because of the situation, he said I'm sorry that I can't come to this situation which means it's too much damage to Kosovo .”, he told RTV21.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry, on the other hand, estimates that the crisis in the north included many areas of the economy, Zana Beqiri from this Chamber says deepening the crisis, leads to the departure of workers from the country.
The problem with the crisis in the north is that it affects every business field because in the moms that have a crisis it automatically affects the orders that are made to our businesses, even in sales that businesses that can especially have businesses that have clients outside Kosovo. This is automatically seen as the concern, the other problem is that a less than good climate in the hands of workers, the more the crisis deepens, the more the demand is made for workers to go abroad. ”, he said
The economy's recognisers call for action to be done as soon as possible in improving Kosovo's economic image. Economic knowledge, Safet Gerjaliu, estimates that normalising the political situation would benefit the business community and boost foreign investment.
I don't care just because it's such an opinion that's been created and damaged every day, and the greatest worry is that even the fate of the active drivers in Kosovo, so I believe it's time to understand the importance of political stability, is when the importance of supporting the private sector is understood, but above all, I believe it is an urgent time when economic diplomacy should be active to influence different forms to improve Kosovo's damage image, he said.
Tensions in northern Kosovo rose after the end of extraordinary mayoral elections in four municipalities in northern Kosovo, which were completely boycotted by local Serbs. The latter in an effort to prevent the entry of elected Albanian mayors into official buildings clashed with KFOR peacekeeping forces. At least 25 KFOR troops were injured last Monday in clashes with Serb protesters.
