In the depths of the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, three border officials are suspected of having been kidnapped in the country's north
Pristina, on June 14, 2023.
Kosovo police (PK), in this case the border patrol police unit, has been on static duty in the country called Trisave/Bare, deep into the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, to prevent the exploitation of illegal roads that were exploited by criminal groups for illegal and smuggling.
Today, at noon by the police unit, which was composed by the three border officials, have announced that at the vicinity of the static point, they have observed masked and armed persons, with this case at this point in assistance, additional KK units have been launched.
Upon arriving at that location, the assisting units have noticed only the official vehicle, but not only police officials who have been in charge of that location. Other police units have immediately gone towards this location, as have other security institutions, including KFOR, as they are suspected that police officials have been kidnapped by Serb forces.
In order to take concrete action for the security of police officials allegedly kidnapped by Serb forces, all local and international mechanisms have been contacted for the same to be released as soon as possible and returned to the Kosovo Police.
Also, various Serbian media have reported that members of the Serbian special units have arrested Kosovo Police officials.
