Several weeks ago the price of derivatives had dropped by 1 euro 15 cents per litre of oil.
The head of the Kosovo Oil Association, Fadil Berjan, has stressed for Kosovo that growth or lowering the price of fuel in international markets is reflecting on Kosovo as well.
He reasons on the expensive derivatives at the price of beers and production organization O PEC.
When there is sufficient production, we have price reductions and the opposite when there is reduction of production, we have price increases. The increase or price reduction in international markets is reflecting on us in Kosovo”, he says.
What prices will be in the coming days, Behrani stressed that they cannot prejudge, as according to him, there are big moves on international markets.
However, he adds, the price of derivatives are still high for the country's citizens compared to the citizens' standard.
According to him, prices should be 1 euro per litre of oil.
The derivative prices in 2022 had reached nearly 2 euros per litre.
