Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani and state governor of Iowas Kim Reynolds, this Monday 26 June, have signed the state relations agreement as sisters and co-operation between the two states.

To sign this agreement, Osmani has said to testify to the dedication of strengthening relations between the two countries and that the alliance with the United States of America for Kosovo remains existential.

The deal, she said, will play an important role in education, trade, agriculture and energy.

The two countries have signed twinning agreements in 2013.

Osmani has said that the new agreement testifies to the dedication to opening new chapters in bilateral reports in <x0 different areas of mutual interest, including education, culture, tourism, agriculture, trade, and energy field”.

It has indicated that Kosovo citizens will get direct benefits from the agreement.

Osmani has also talked about the current situation in Kosovo, which he has said authorities are committed to exceeding all challenges in the area of security.

Kosovo, as always, is fully committed to long-term peace and stability in the country and the region, in full co-ordination with our allies”.

The two countries have co-operated in the past even in the business field and exchanges in the field of education.
