Hyseni: Borrell is trying to calm the parties down to deal with their problems.

EU High Representative Josep Borrell in a cautious diplomatic language is urging Kosovo and Serbia to calm down and sit in dialogue to find solutions on several issues. That's what Flamur Hyseni, law professor, thinks. He spoke on the “show. RTK Prime”, where it is discussed today's meetings in Brussels by the representative [...]
He spoke on the “show. RTK Prime”, where it is discussed today's meetings in Brussels of representative Borrell with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq.
“This insistence on Borrell in a slightly more cautious diplomatic language is making it likely to ask the parties to calm down and sit down to deal with three processes: the police issue, the election issue in the north and the question of the separately Agreement. It's not as if it's a certain co-ordination and he said he'd report the situation, but he didn't provide much information from the” meeting, Hyseni said.
According to him, elections cannot be organised contrary to the procedures in force even despite diplomatic demand.
We also have legal obligations as a state. We cannot organise elections now contrary to the procedures we have in force even against diplomatic demand, in this case also of Mr. Borrell. We cannot bypass the legal and procedural aspects which correctly determine how to go further to the election”, he said.
And Vizar Xani, the analyst, has said that this meeting was better than a failed one - so it could not be held at all.
The “changed perhaps it tried to find this kind of method to hold the meeting and save Serbia from the part that had refused the meeting, and this kind of format persuaded Serbia to participate in the Brussels meeting”, he has said.
Xani said questions have been touched at the meeting that help take action to stabilise tensions in the northern part of Kosovo.
“There were no discussions on implementing the European plan, but it was the way to find the formula for stabilisation in the northern part. Mr. Borrell mentioned early elections, the withdrawal of police and protesters parallelally”, he said.
