He has said additional efforts must be made to intensify the situation.
“We welcome the court's decision to release three Kosovo police officers and expect additional efforts to lead to further escalation of the current situation”, Hill has said of Kosovo-Online.
Hill has said it is urgent to implement the European Union's three-point plan and return to dialogue immediately.
Three police officers -- Becir Sefa, Shame Mustafa and Rifat Zeka -- were in charge of criminal work: production, possession, possession and illegal trafficking of weapons and explosives, which carries prison sentences of up to 12 years.
They were submitted to the detention measure on June 16th, but its duration was not clear.
The arrest of three policemen prompted numerous reactions in both Kosovo and the international community, which repeatedly sought their release.
