Havenier: Immediate North Enlargement, New Elections, Full Implementation of Agreement

He on Twitter has said new elections should be held in northern municipalities, with the involvement of Kosovo Serbs.

The American diplomat has also stressed the need for full implementation of the normalisation agreement from Kosovo and Serbia.

Hovenier has written after meetings that the European Union's emissary for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, and American envoy for the Balkans Gabriel Escobar have developed with politicians in Kosovo.

Emisars have presented Prime Minister Albin Kurti with a proposal of three elements.

The first is the de-pass of the situation on the ground in three northern municipalities, then quick elections in these municipalities, as well as a return to dialogue.
