In published photos and videos, many buildings surrounded by an orange background caused by highly polluted air.

Many citizens have commented on this situation as similar to those in world - ending movies. This situation is caused by fires fired in Canada.

The relevant authorities have described injuries from this situation as far more serious than in the last 10 years, international media write.

Canada is currently in a state of emergency using all its resources to neutralise fires. Experts have warned that such events may be repeated more frequently in the future because of global warming.

“This is an extraordinary event, but it is likely to become common as global warming continues” said Justin Mankin, professor at Dartmouth College and climate researcher, the AP quoted.

Meanwhile, citizens in the affected areas are comparing the current situation with that of the pandemic, as at the same time, many cultural and sports events have been cancelled.

And many usually populated areas have been empty in recent days. This is due to air pollution at toxic levels. Those forced out of their dwellings have restored the use of masks. Touched citizens are already looking to the sky waiting for the rainfall that can help alleviate the situation. /Periscopi/
