Among the three requirements laid down by leading European leaders is that of organising new elections in the north. Election process recognisers say there are several possibilities for maintaining them. But the government has not answered the TIME questions about the options available to organize them.Keeping new elections in the four northern municipalities, mainly inhabited by Serbs, has been set as Kosovo's request by European Union representatives as opportunities for exiting the current situation.

It is mentioned among three requests President Vjosa Osmani presented to Moldova EU High Representative Josep Borrell, France's president, Emmanuel Macron, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, at the meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq.

For their connoisseur organisation of the election process, two ways -- one through the resignation by political agreement of elected mayors at the 23 April and second through a request made by voters in these municipalities -- said.

Eugen Cakoli, a researcher at the Kosovo Democratic Institute, says the mayors' resignations may not guarantee the Serbian List's participation in the election, which was also one of the requirements laid down by European leaders.

“in the political sense would probably be better to pursue this form of direct democracy because there would be a kind of guarantee that Serbs would participate in the election process. So, only if they were to appear over 50 percent in the minireferentum could pave the way for the proclamation of extraordinary elections, the problem with this Modalites remains to double the double cost of”, Calcol said.

Reviewing the Serb's eventual demand for holding elections has also been warned by Prime Minister Albin Kurti in an interview for KTV.

The “never violating what law or order in Kosovo is the CEC, is the presidential lady, is the Parliament of the Republic, the Government. As political activist I predict the situation, Serbs will come out in protests for early, peaceful elections for early elections, have a good listener from Kosovo Prime Minister”, Kurti said.

And in support of the European leaders' request, North Macedonia Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani, who holds the chairmanship of the OSCE mission, also appeared on Friday.

I join the call for new elections and the return of Kosovo Serbs to institutions and full implementation of agreements, including the latter in Ohrid. As leader of O The SEU supports EU-led dialogue, such as the only way to reduce tensions and ensure long-term stability. The OSCE is ready to help”, Osmani said.

KOHA has addressed the prime minister's office questions on the issue, but has received no answers during the day.
