Germany has confirmed it has received Rama's document. In a response to Nacional, Germany has stressed that it cannot speak about the contents of the document, since it is confidential.
“We can confirm the admission of such a document to the Chancellor. We seek your understanding that we cannot comment on its confidential content. The government of Germany declared it.
Rama has announced that he has sent the president of France, Emmanuel Macron, and Germany's Chancellor, Olaf Scholz, a draft statute for the Association of Serb Majorities.
We have not discussed the document with Albin Kurti. It's not Kurt's fate today at stake, it's the fate of the Republic of Kosovo as a whole, and of course I only want the success of Kurti and the Government of Kosovo”, he stressed.
But I can't stand by looking at the conditions where what I see really needs to be shared with all because it's a very big threat that Kosovo doesn't come from Serbia, but it comes from reducing relations with allies to a level where Kosovo is a big lost. That's my concern”, Rama said.
Furthermore, he has wished that the document he sent to two European states, simply translate into an opportunity for dialogue “then they know for themselves what they get and what they don't get”, as he has said.
