The Food and Veterinary Agency has come out with an announcement.
According to them, the slaughter of Cubans is only in licensed/admitted slaughterhouses by the Food and Veterinary Agency, which are under the supervision of official veterinarian inspectors.
AUV says slaughtering animals in public spaces and any other country that is not destined for this activity is prohibited by laws, and adds that against anyone violating the law, penal measures are unprecedented.
“The animal which cuts for consumption above all must have been controlled. Thus, in the slaughterhouse control is conducted before the slaughter, during the slaughter process, and after the slaughter process, where health and animal health are assessed, and after the slaughter process, the meat is subject to veterinial control for verifying the appropriateness of the consumer food product”, the AW report said.
“Theors possess technical, sanitation and hygienic, possess environments, temperature and adequate equipment for safe slaughter. We encourage everyone to use adequate tools during farm trading at the slaughterhouse. Over 50 items approved for slaughtering animals across the country have enough capacity to meet the needs of citizens. Central and local inspectors, along with the police, will oversee the law enforcement. As a society, we are obliged not to create images of animal cutting in nonhumanly public spaces and in unsanitary conditions”, the AUV response said.
