Kosovo basketball judge Daut Mehmeti has been permanently excluded from FIBA for rejecting the World Federation Code of Conduct and Integrity. According to the official page of the top basketball institution (FIBA), the sentence has already been imposed on Mehmet.
The reason he brought the sentence for the 37-year-old judge is the illegal bets and tricks of several matches he had tried.
Mehmeti has tried six Maccaby Haifa matches in his last nine appearances in the parks.
The sentencing announcement mentions “usion from performing the federation's” function and “halting participation in all FIBA activities” for violating the Federation's Ethics and Integrity Code, in terms of betting and manipulation of competitions by Mehmeti.
