The United States and the European Union expect an agreement on calming the situation in the north to be reached further today (on Wednesday).
This implies that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti must comply with three provisions that two emisars, Gabriel Escobar and Miroslav Lajcak, announced to him at Monday's meeting.
They are calming the situation in northern Kosovo, holding new elections in the four Serb majority municipalities and turning into dialogue with Serbia.
American Escobar said on Tuesday during a meeting of journalists that if Kurti does not accept these three conditions, then he does not want co-operation with the US and the EU, and that this, always according to him, cannot go away without consequences.
The US envoy for dialogue has stated that the draft Communist Association status draft should be introduced immediately by the government. /
