In that conclusion, the European Union Council reportedly condemns the violent incidents that took place at the end of 2 in northern Kosovo and has called for the immediate de-excendment of the situation, given key elements that have been defined by the European Union on June 3, 2023.
Also, this conclusion is said to have to create conditions to hold new elections in four municipalities in northern Kosovo. EU member states say failure to overcome tensions will have negative consequences.
They also say it is essential to continue the dialogue led by Josep Borrell and the rapid implementation of the normalisation agreement and the Impulation Annex, including their demand for the establishment of the Serbian Major Commission Association.
