US Emisari for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar, has described Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurtin, “partner difficult” but has said he continues his partnership with Kosovo.
Escobar has stated this in an interview for the Southeast European Institute for Policy and Economics, while adding that the final aim of the US is mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia.
I need to make this clear Kurt is our partner. He's a tough partner sometimes, but still he's a partner. Kosovo is our partner. Serbia is our partner. So, in the future, we want to use the good relations we have with Kosovo and improve relations with Serbia to find a mutually acceptable and mutually useful way so that both are part of the European Union”, Escobar has declared.
