Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, has reacted to the kidnapping of three police officers in northern Kosovo, stressing that there are no parallel “between them and the person with criminal precedents arrested by police”.
The news was disclosed by the head of government, citing his status on Twitter.
Rama writes initially that KFOR will not come up with public conclusions about the whereabouts of three Kosovo police officers.
According to him, despite various claims of location, kidnapped officers “must return home as soon as possible”.
Following the government's response, the official adds that the authorities in both countries are “100% focused on their release”.
Rama's points:
- It seems KFOR will not come up with public conclusions about the whereabouts of three Kosovo police officers.
- Despite various claims of location, they must return home as soon as possible!
- Since yesterday we're 100% focused on their release!
- There is no parallel between the three police officers and the person with criminal precedents arrested by Kosovo police in the North!
- De-pass remains the priority of priorities and points set by the Euro-Atlantic community must be met an hour and earlier.
