Double murder in Gjakova, family members of the suspect say victims brutally beat him

The suspect in the murder of two brothers in Gjakova, Gjergj Gjonaj, is still being treated at Peja Hospital after injuries were sustained and wounded.

His family sent videos to Gazeta Express claiming that Gjokaj was severely beaten and wounded with firearms on his feet that very night.

The 30-day detention measure has already been scheduled for him.

According to the prosecution's request to the Court, Gjokaj “dated June 25, 2023 about 20:20 minutes in the village of Madanaj in Gjakova, has deliberately deprived the dead H. I. and B. I., from the village of Madanaj and this because of a property dispute”. /Gazza Express/
