Deday: Albin Kurti resigns and new elections are announced!

Former Kosovo Ambassador to Northern Macedonia Gjergj Dedaj, commenting on recent developments in the country's north, said he expects Albin Kurti's surrender and the proclamation of new elections.

Deday said this must happen to be overcome by the dramatic situation in which the country is located and damage caused by the EU and the U.S. has been punished.

I personally expect the resignation of Prime Minister Kurti and new elections, with the aim of overcoming this dramatic situation and of Sancing dangerous damage with the US and EU, which has caused the current power with Stalinist, exclusive and committed. Kosovo's Pavaresia is the joint project of Kosovo with Washington and Brussels, and only this partnership guarantees sovereignty, integrity, peace, security and Euro-Atlantic integration” Didaj told “Gazeta Blic”.

Deday's statements come after last month's tensions in northern Kosovo.

A few days later, Kosovo Police arrested Milun Milenkovovic, known as one of the leaders of the criminal group “Civil Protection” in the north and involved in the attack on KFOR soldiers in Zvecan.

This brought Serbia's response by taking the kidnapping of three policemen in the country's north.

Yesterday, too, a large number of journalists have been attacked, which has resulted in the strong response of political leaders.
