Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti attended the Crenare Parade in support of the LGBTQI+ community yesterday.

He said during the parade that participation in the Parade of Crenaria, activists and representatives of organisations has promised Monday.

Kurti said that in Kosovo, all should be equal, and each should have security and protection of dignity and integrity.

For the community, the state and society must protect and learn about them. In this case, I express my indignation for the vast number of abuses, threats and discriminations experienced by this community”.

You heard how proudly they called for equality and freedom, and where they call for equality and freedom I am as prime minister, because our Republic has otherwise made sense”, Kurti said.

On the other hand, the head of government said they would do their best for the Civil Code next time to succeed in the assembly.

We will do our utmost for the Civil Code next time successful in the convent. Even for government will and program, and even from work, we do not spare ourselves”, Kurti said.

Meanwhile, in a Facebook post, Kurt wrote yesterday that there was a call for equality and freedom in Parade. According to the head of the Government of Kosovo, threats, abuses and discrimination experienced by members of this community are unacceptable, until he added that society and state should protect and learn about them.

Among other things, Kurt said that people should be accepted, respected, and loved as they are.

“The participants of the “Pride Parade” today called for public equality and freedom. The threats, abuses and discrimination experienced by members of the LGBTQIA+ community are unacceptable. Society and State must protect and learn about them. Together we must trust in human rights, in everyone's dignity and integrity. People have to accept, respect, and love as they are”, Kurti wrote.

In addition to Kurti, President of Pristina Progress Rama and his wife, Health Minister Arben Vitita, VV parliamentary group chief Mimoza Kusari-Lila attended.

Reactions for Kurt's Presence

The first-ever appearance of Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti, in the Crenaria Parade, has prompted many reactions. This appearance of Kurt in the organisation of the LGBT community has been commented by former Vetevendosje Movement activist Rron Djindovci.

Today, who is against LGBT is against Albin Kurti”, Djindov wrote.

The comment on this includes analyst Zana Avdiu. She wrote that Prime Minister Kurti finally did a good job.

Albin leads the Crenaria parade today. Fortunately, a job made by Bani” has written Avdiu.

Meanwhile, analyst Agon Maliqi has said that from such an action of Kurti, the average militant will experience a large emotional cousin, but says perhaps some of it is even slightly educated.

“Deeper differences, good news Kurti's first appearance in the parade of pride, as the continuation of a standard already set by the heads of state. The average militant experiences large emotional cousins, but a small part may even be educated a little.” wrote Maliqi.

However, VV deputy Gramoz Agusholl, who has voted against the civil code, has also reacted.

He has made a reaction to his profile, writing “Always the family. Snosh”
