Conjufca for police kidnapping: Marketing on this subject is conducted, as the US, Germany and Great Britain said

Konjufca accuses Serbia of seeking territorial autonomy in the north, while stressing that they will convince internationals that Kosovo is in its right to the situation in the four northern municipalities. Chief Prime Minister Konjufca also speaks of the kidnapping of three policemen by Serbian forces, the initiative of President Osmani to unify the political spectrum, and the opposition's readiness to move to extraordinary parliamentary elections.

The only clear compliance was that of the political level, not concrete and practical how to move forward. But the political level that everyone agrees needs new elections in the north. This is the only common denominator who has characterised the meeting (of Brussels). The others, as far as Mr. Vuciq's demands are concerned, are unacceptable to Kosovo, of course... Even if it goes to new elections, it has to go with constitutional procedures, not anti-democratic procedures. As it goes to new elections, Kosovo has its own legal and democratic civil option. Serbia, on the other hand, has the option of exercising violence through groups that are orchestrated”, says Konjufca.

Konjufca declares that Serbia's main goal is to create an institutional vacuum in the north and then riots to put Kosovo ahead of a committed fact, then to seek a political solution for a form of territorial autonomy.

However, he says this is unacceptable for Kosovo.

“This has been a clear attempt that through the creation of an institutional vacuum in the northern part of Kosovo from November last year and then with the violence of armed groups, by attacking the Kosovo Police and NATO soldiers, to bring Kosovo before a fact has been carried out. This is a political solution in the form of a territorial autonomy for that part of Kosovo. That has been the concrete and main goal of Vucinqi and Serbia. That is why the Kosovo Police have intervened and why we have chosen the path of constitutionality and legitimacy in the matter of electing the mayors to do everything by law and the Constitution. This is our only straight and only way to oppose the path of gangs and crime”, he points out.

Konjufca says determined it will convince the internationals that Kosovo is in its right to establishing legitimacy in the north.

He also cites the arrest of suspects for attacks on KFOR soldiers, Kosovo Police and journalists.

There's a difference between gangs and people who take orders and people who aren't generally involved there and see their jobs. But as for those who take orders and exercise violence directly, that is a very clear distinction. The government is making this distinction -- the arrest of (Milun) Milenkovic -- he has a criminal record with dozens of acts, suspected of two murders. As it may be said, it is provocation, what provocation it is. The same man if he is in Pristina and is Albanian national, he is arrested in mid-Pristina. Why is it different for another region, since we create double standards... We have to convince internationals that this is a Kosovo right, sʹka to do with civilians and it's only effort (of Serbia) after legitimate elections have been called, the mayors have the responsibility to exercise office from their work post”, adds Chief Prime Minister Konjufca per kp.

On the other hand, Konjufca seeks the release of police kidnapped by Serb forces within Kosovo's territory.

He even adds that in their return home there should be no condition on Serbia's part.

In addition, Konjufca criticises PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi and LDK chairman Lumir Abdijxhiku, who did not attend the meeting called by President Vjosa Osmani.

I don't think they did well not to go to the presidential meeting, because it's the wrong approach. I think Mr Haradinaj did well to go to the meeting called by the president. You can't even complain to the president who's not playing her role after them and at the same time undermine her good and noble efforts to help the country build up political forces and take their thoughts on how to move forward. So you can't complain that the president's never calling us and the first chance she calls you to refuse the invitation. I think it's contradictory and it's not the approach that helps Kosovo citizens”, Konjufca points out.

As for the no-confidence motion mentioned by the AAK, but also the recent demands of PDK chairman Memli Krasniqi for the distribution of the Assembly, Konjfuca, says the only embarrassment of the opposition is that to bring down the Kurti Government, they need Serbian List votes, so this option is without perspective.

“Doesn't go on to dismantle (the country) like that. Kosovo has its own democratic and state procedures. I think the only embarrassment that is being created in this regard is that to bring down the Kurti Government is a must for the arrival of the Serbian List, that's why it prevents local factors and that's why they don't see any perspective of this” option, Conjufca concludes.

European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell in Brussels has been hosting separate meetings, Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq. Although Borrell has stressed the need for the despassing of the situation in northern Kosovo, the parties have not yet agreed on how to do so.

Prime Minister Kurti has expressed itself open to the body of extraordinary elections in the four northern municipalities, but has said this should happen only with legal and constitutional solutions. He has stressed that the transition should mean the removal of violent extremists who would immediately be followed by the reduction of the Kosovo Police presence in municipal buildings in the north.
