Condition for sanctions: With the EU, we were never angry.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti at the Government meeting has spoken about the list of measures against Kosovo that were presented by the European Commission.

Kurti before the ministers has said that “at times we have been critical of the European Union”, but according to him, never have “s cynical or angry”.

He has said further that when the application for EU membership was submitted in December, it was suggested that Kosovo deserves to be part of it.

The European Commission yesterday has presented a list of measures against Kosovo to the European Parliament. The European Union in Kosovo finds the most sincere and stable ally of European values, democratic principles and long-term concerns”.

Kosovo has such a government, the people, first and then the government. On occasion, we have been critical of the European Union, but we are never cynical or grieving today”.

When we submitted our application for membership in December, we did, believing we deserve to be part of this union in a predictable future. We have the same faith today”.
