Under KED's investment plan, nearly ten thousand residents of the Skyerwright municipality have already become with new power grids.
Investment Project on 10kV outage Likovci, in the Skineraj municipality, which benefits fourteen villages, has recently ended. A total of 1,450 new concrete pillars and over 72,000m electrical transporters, as well as 27 new transformatators, have been placed on this new line of central and low tension.
With the operation of this new line, close to 10,000 residents are already benefiting.
Project manager out 10kV Likovci, Burim Llugaxhiu, an engineer in KED, says this project has been necessary in order for our consumers to have stable electricity supplies.
Our “consumers in this area, in addition to having high quality and supply without interruption of electricity, are also benefiting in terms of security and health, since the old electricity network has been completely replaced with a new array of”, he said.
The residents of this area express happiness in the new electrical network. Ejup Gashi from the village of Krushevc of Skywright says there were not previously enough pillars and, even those that were, due to old age, were damaged.
“As resident of this village I am very pleased with the realisation of this project. We thank KEDS for removing our old network and installing us the new”, he said.
Even Bahri Gashi, a resident of that side, expressed happiness that they already have a steady and devoid of electricity.
Before there was decay because the pillars were wood and old. With the installation of the new electrical network and new concrete pillars, no defect has occurred so far. It's better where it goes”, he says.
With the completion of this investment project, which totals more than 600 thousand euros, residents of these villages have stable and quality electricity supplies. Above all, they have security. Currently, KEDS is implementing more than 250 projects throughout Kosovo.
