Three British tourists have disappeared after the fire aboard a boat during a sea voyage to the Egyptian Red Sea.
Another 12 Britons were rescued from the ship located on the coast of Marsa Alam, local authorities said.
They added that initial reports suggested the fire was the result of an electrical defect.
According to reports, the ship was launched from Port Ghalib on June 6th and was to return Sunday, reports the BBC.
There were reportedly about 30 British persons aboard with the rest of the Egyptian crew.
The Red Sea is a resort for diving trips.
“This is really bad news for the tourism industry,” said Nabil. “They depend on tourism, especially British tourism”
