As Novosti reports, truck drivers with Serbian goods waiting to enter Kosovo are allowing Serbian vehicles to pass, but not Kosovo and foreign license plates.
Serbian media serving the Serbian regime report that around “30 truck drivers” from Kursumlia have blocked the main Nis-Kosovo road in the village of Rudare and do not allow trucks and buses with Kosovo license plates and foreigners to enter Serbia.
In their words, “this is a sign of solidarity with Kosovo Serbs and a sign of protest against Kosovo's organ decision to prevent the entry of trucks with Serbian license plates to Kosovo”.
“People are revolted by the situation in Kosovo and in this way we want to show our solidarity with the non-Albanian people in this “southern Serbian province”. We'll stay here as long as you need”, Aleksandar Papic, a truck driver from Kursumlia, has declared.
They add that they will not drop the “blockade”, which started yesterday at 18:30.
So far, a large number of trucks have already returned to Kosovo, even though they have passed the border crossing between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia in Merdare and entered Serbia.
