Bieber: Vucinqi takes advantage of the escalation in the north, responsibility for violence lies with Belgrade

Florian Bieber, a Southeast European researcher at the University of Graz in Austria, in a proposal for the German newspaper “Tagessau”, said that from the escalation of the situation in the northern part of Kosovo, Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq and Russia, subsequently Russian President Vladimir Putin. Serbia is well out of this and positive to Russia. [...]
Serbia is well out of this and positive to Russia. Russia likes riots in the Balkans. Not because this brings something to Russia, but it's a maneuver for attracting attention. Russia helps to present the West weak and maintain relations with Serbia”, Bieber said.
“at the same time Vucic has not broken relations with the West and so has kept all doors open, as he has made this from a decade-long”, he stressed, while adding that direct plea addresses for the situation are not well weighed.
“Dhuna did not ultimately come from Kosovo security authorities. One should carefully inquire who is responsible for such violence. There is good reason to believe that the responsibility lies at Belgrade”, the potential Bieber.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani have expressed readiness to listen to the demands of local Serbs and agree to re-election in northern municipalities -- Leposaviq, Zvecan, Zubin Potok and North Mitrovica -- following recent tensions there.
In July of this year, the new mayors of northern municipalities -- Lulzim Hetemi, Ilir Peci, Erden Attic and Izmir Zeqiri -- resign from office while President Osmani announces extraordinary elections, which, according to an exclusive statement provided by the Albanian Post, should be held no longer than early September 2023.
Meanwhile, with very serious consequences, Kosovo's government has been threatened unless it meets three clear “requirements of international partners for resolving the crisis in northern Kosovo, European Union for Foreign Policy and Security High Representative Josep Borrell said.
Borrell through a tweet into his account at “Twitter” would show the three requirements France and Germany submitted Thursday to the Ottoman President and which Kosovo authorities must immediately meet because, on the contrary, “there would be serious consequences to the newest state in Europe.
New elections in the north immediately, ensuring the participation of Kosovo Serbs and the start of work on establishing the Serb-run municipality Association. Failure to do so will have serious consequences for our relations”, Borrell wrote.
The international community has warned the consequences for Kosovo, following the northern Serbs' clash with police -- on Friday, May 26th, with Prime Minister Kurti's unilateral decision -- carried out action to enable new mayors in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan to access the office.
The United States and other QUINT partners Germany, France, Italy and Great Britain have exclusively blamed the Government of Kosovo and Prime Minister Kurti for straining the situation in the country's inhabited north of ethnic Serbs.
Still in the north, there is little or no public order, leadership there enjoys neither authority nor loyalty, while a number of groups and factions from Belgrade threaten Kosovo authorities with resistance trying to integrate the Serb community and establish an effective order. /Albana Post/
