This type of loan affected most of Kosovo's citizens, as it has the highest turnout in credit portfolios.
In April 2023, the average interest rate on credit has reached 6.3 per cent, says the monthly report of the Kosovo Central Bank (BQK).
Constant month-on-month growth is particularly noted in consumer loans. Thus, the average interest rate in consumer loans has reached 6.3 percent in April, until just a month earlier in March was 6.2 percent. Last year, the interest on this type of loan was below 6 percent.
While agricultural loans have been released, ranging from 6.5 percent as long as the muta in March, have dropped to 5.9 hours in April.
Interestingly, by last year, family economies are “kept at”, with many debts to banks, where annual housing credit growth is 16.1%.
