Leposaviqi's chairman, Lulzim Hetemi, is not the only local leader in the north who is staying locked up inside the city facility there, now for 11 days.
Even North Mitrovica Mayor Erden Attic is not leaving the perimeter of the municipal object until he is spending the night inside the offices of this building.
Klan Kosova has confirmed this information from several sources, as Attici's departure to the municipality has not been made public during this period by the government or the Vetevendosje Movement. One and the other told Clan to discuss the matter with the mayor himself, who refused to speak when he was seen in the courtyard for a few seconds.
Neither has the police returned the response to whether Attic's quarantine is his safety measure or voluntary action. He, however, is offered 24-hour protection by the law enforcement forces, Klan Kosova reports.
The area around the municipal facility in the Bosniaks' neighbourhood is mostly calm and unsurpassed, unlike what is happening in three other northern cities.
Leposaviqi Mayor Lulzim Hetemi is in another situation, as around his workplace, there are added KFOR forces, but also daily protests of Serbs who are demanding that he clear the building.
As long as he was stuck for many days, the same one had claimed for the media that he is doing well and that he is feeding like a hotel.
His move had been praised by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who gave the superiority of the exemplary resistance to Hetem's isolation.
However, this may even have been a little upset because of a lack of physical communication with others, which is not the case even with Attic.
North Mitrovica's mayor comes to the office, often various guests, including colleagues from the party and state institutions.
