Arrested for assault on KFOR, who is Dusan Obrenovic

Dusan Obrenovic, who was arrested by Kosovo Police for attacking KFOR troops in Zvecan, is known for close reports with members of the far-right fascist organisation “The European Solidarity Fund for Kosovo ESFK”, which has close ties with Russia and promotes anti-Western sentiment. In 2019, [...]

In 2019, Kosovo Police had detained eight members of the far-right organisation E The SFK, with the reasoning that they had planned during the Kosovo national football match against Czechia, to fear over the stadium with the inscription “Kosovo is Serbia”. Most of the detainees were citizens of the Czech Republic, with strong ties to Russia.

Two months before the ban of Czech citizens from Kosovo Police, they were hosted in northern Mitrovica by Dusan Obrenovic and posed before the main bridge on the “Iber”, writes Kosova Preris.

In September 2022, the two members of this organisation (ESFK) -- Dimitrije Markovic and Nenad Jermic -- have been barred from entering Kosovo's territory due to their activity against the sovereignty and national security of the Republic of Kosovo.

One of the persons barred from entering Kosovo, Dimitrije Markovic, is also known for his close reports with Dusan Obrenovic, and both are part of the far-right organisation “EFSK”, which is led by members of the far-right German party, Mike Mueller.

Members of the far right organisation “ESFK” had been rewarded by Serbia for their propaganda activity in Kosovo.

Serbian protesters are rejecting the entry of Albanian mayors into municipal buildings.

The situation in these municipalities has been tense Friday 26 May, when sworn mayors were forced into their working offices under Kosovo Police assistance.

As a result of violent protests, six Kosovo police officers and 30 KFOR soldiers have been injured, while Serbs have also attacked Kosovo Police and journalists.

The United States has criticised Kosovo for escalation of tensions with Serbia, until it also canceled the country's participation in a NATO military exercise “Defender 23”, after Pristina refused to withdraw its mayors and police forces from the country's north.
