In an interview for Voice of America, Fried has said Washington has the right to be angry with the Kosovo government and that the recent positions of the United States testify to the biggest break in its reports with Kosovo.

He added that the Kosovo government must find ways to improve initial mistakes.
“The governments make mistakes and I hope, at some level and perhaps at all levels, the Kosovo government will accept this, but it is a difficult period. At the same time, this will not change the fact that Serbia must face reality”, he said. /Periscopi/
