Imer Alija from the Fund for Humanitarian Law suggests there is still no trial over the Dubrava massacre.
He stressed that a person has been arrested as suspected of torturing prisoners in this massacre.
We don't have a trial related to this massacre at the moment, but we have a person who has been arrested as a suspect who has participated in the torture of prisoners. Now the Procusoria doesn't know if he has found enough evidence to accuse him of participating in the murder of prisoners. So there's a person who was arrested a few months ago and the investigations are continuing, so there hasn't been an indictment against him yet.”, he said in “Info Nata” on Tv 1.
The Dubrava Prison massacre has been conducted from 19 May to 24 May 1999.
Within the prison, 160 Albanian prisoners were killed and more than 300 others injured.
