Albanian nurse saves 4-year-old in Switzerland that was drowned in pool

It becomes known that Nazlie Selimaj has quickly intervened in a swimming pool in St. Gallen, after seeing that a four-year-old boy, now unconsciously needed urgent help. She lives in Fislisbach of the Aargau canton, but last Sunday she went with her family to a pool in Wil SG, after visiting the sister who lives in the region, broadcasts Albinfo.ch.

We were very happy to have a sunny day in the” pool. But then, shortly before 5:00, a dramatic event has disturbed their happiness. They were enjoying ice cream on the pool beach when her husband saw a man running into the pool, dragging his son out of the water. He was later holding his son, helpless in his arms”, Kosovo tells the newspaper Blick.

I still had a vague feeling. The boy was very pale and his fingers were blue”, Selimaj says. So she stayed with her family and told the lifeguard who came along that an ambulance should be called. Soon after, the ambulance came. Troops for rescue, St. Gallenite confirmed the operation. The patient was “fully sustainable” and was transferred to the children's hospital in Eastern Switzerland, broadcasting Albinfo.ch.

“I was no longer afraid for the boy”, Selimaj says. I then discovered that he had a huge lack of oxygen in his blood”. Four-year-old is home now. His father does not want to talk publicly about the event. But Nazly knows that the boy is fine. His father thanked him several times... And is the rescuer proud of his actions? Well, I am.
