AKI assassination: Appeal confirms 25 years in prison, family lawsuits for state

The Appeals Court has confirmed the 25-year prison sentence for Valon Iberdemaj, who has been found guilty of killing Isa Sejdiu in the Kosovo Intelligence Agency facility. The former employee of AKI has been estimated to have deliberately killed his colleague and the motive is estimated to be jealousy. The family has warned of indictments for the state in vain, a lawsuit which, according to them, will capture millions of values.

Valon Iberdemaj has also been convicted of illegal kidnapping and possession.
