AKG does not believe order bodies will reveal journalists' attackers

Xhemajl Rexha from the Association of Kosovo Journalists has said he does not hope that justice bodies will resolve cases of attacks on journalists. He has added that cases of attacks on journalists like these last days in the north of the country have had in the past, but [...]

He has added that cases of attacks on journalists as if in the last few days in the north of the country there have been even in the past, but the same have not yet been resolved.

I don't think that there will be results in investigations being conducted by the Mitrovica Prosecutor, because we have seen in the past that such attacks on journalists were committed in that part of the country and that there's never been discovered” Rexha said.

He has further cited the case of barricades in the north, where he said there have been at least three attacks on journalists at the time.

“The list of barricades that lasted about 3 weeks has had at least 3 attacks on journalists, two of them were made against the Kosovo Clan teams, who were stoned by masked persons and then we know even the stone attack on the moving car of this same team, and we have never received any information from the bodies of order” he said further
