Action in a Podujevo village, one person arrested and weapon seized

At the police report, the defendant is reportedly suspected of gun trafficking.

Kosovo's “Police, namely the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime in Co-operation with the competent Prosecutor, assisted by other police station units in Podujevo and K9, based on the Command Control issued by the competent Court, have conducted a control operation at a location in a Podujevo village, with whom it resulted in the arrest of a suspected “-traficiation person with”, the report said.

It becomes known that the prosecutor's decision suspect, after interviewing, has been sent to hold for 48 hours for further legal procedures.

“During this police operation a residential home has been searched and evidence/ material evidence has been seized as follows: Two (2) short weapons (revole), a (1) long weapon (aircraft), twenty-five (25) bullets, ten (10) carbon combs (for long arms), a (1) box filled with gunpowder, and an amount of spherical bullet shells, type printing device (gravim) and weapons numbers (metal)” are further said.
