According to new studies, an unprofessional number of jobs performed by women are endangered by automation because of the display of artificial generation intelligence.

The rise in artificial generation intelligence (generative AI) has long been criticised for the potential impact on the job market, as people are afraid to lose their jobs, or to see the most valuable parts of their daily tasks, which are automated by computer systems.

A recent Goldman Sachs report showed that the equivalent of 300 million full - time jobs in the United States and Europe is endangered by automation due to technology.

However, the impact on work may not be equal.

Since some jobs are more automable than others, and considering gender distribution in the labour market, women may suffer greater losses because of the IA generation, according to a new study.

Simply because there are more women working in the areas affected, more women are affected.

Although men exceed women in the workforce, the study shows that the IA generator is expected to jeopardise the work of more women, compared to men.

This is because 79% of women working are employed in sensitive professions to disruptions and automation of IA.

But there are many office positions that can also be significantly affected. They are generally in many different industries. So, the office's administrative support professions, about 70% of them being performed by women.

Other industries, where jobs are mainly occupied by women, expected to be influenced by IA approval, include health care (76%), education (73%) and community and social services (67%).

How to Adjust to the AI show on the job market

While the IA generation has the potential to print or to automate in part different jobs, it also provides great opportunities for job creation.

Historically, when cars were used to replace human workers, for higher productivity and less cost, there was a show of new jobs that did not exist before.

Furthermore, the IA may also be useful in the industry, thanks to technology's ability to automate repeated boring tasks of various jobs, which are not sensitive to shifting and full automation.

For example, for health - care professionals, where more than 70 %s are women, the generation IA can come to the aid of answering patients ' questions can help provide advice for health care professionals on diagnosiss and description approaches.

In the IA era, effective navigation in the labour market requires a change in mentality regarding the basic skills required for completion of the task.

Using all the knowledge gained by exposing themselves to the IA, workers should try to take it, adjust it, learn how to use it well and then isolate themselves”, argues Mark McNeilly, marketing professor at the Kenan-Flagler School and lead author of the study. / Euronews
