25 years in prison for Izet Goden, 70-year-old man who killed his wife

This is the verdict the court pronounced at the Constitutional Court in Pristina, respectively, the Randa Crime Department, in the serious case that took place on November 25th 2011.
Goden was found guilty of criminal action “grave murder”. The hard work has been carried out by the accused himself.
The court explained that on May 30, 2023, it has held its initial investigation into this criminal case, in which the accused I.G. (Izet Goden v.j) has pleaded guilty.
While on May 31st, 2023, the court has declared the indictment, while continuing with the detention measure.
According to the court, the accused by November 25, 2022, about 0400, at his house in Pristina, brutally and slylyly, had now deprived his wife of life, Sadije Goden.
His murder was committed until his death had been sleeping. The accused had stabbed him several times on the left of his head, and as a result of these blows, the deceased had passed away.
The court states that this actual situation has been proven after accepting guilt from the accused and material evidence found in the subject papers, while against this act, the parties have a fair complaint at the Kosovo Court of Appeals, through the Constitutional Court in Pristina.
After the murder was carried out, the 70-year-old was using himself in the police.
The case had shocked residents of the neighborhood “Tophane” where the couple lived, which they described as quiet and troubled.
The late Sadije Goden, for 28 years, was teaching at the school “dania” in Pristina. The co-workers of the deceased had said the day before, had been having regular conversations with him, and 63-year-old had shown no sign that something was wrong.
