“We have touched on all elements of progress that Kosovo has achieved and I believe that if there is a clear message from our meeting and a clear message that always comes from Kosovo and Pristina, and that would be that Kosovo is very committed to EU integration. You have shown your commitment not only in words but also by joining us all in very clear devotion to our stand about Russian aggression against Ukraine. This is one thing that is appreciated in view of the geopolitical challenges this war is causing”, Varhely said.
Varhely also talked about dialogue with Serbia, while he said it is essential that both sides implement all obligations stemming from the agreement, including association.
We think that a progress has been made last year. Now it is essential that both sides also offer to apply all obligations because we have to take advantage of the moment and walk before”.

This is a very long promise made by Europe that we have managed to secure together with the work of the Government of Kosovo and their pledge to change things on the ground, not only commitment to European values but also work with us to convince member states on a daily basis that visa-free movement is also in our interest. This is a joint success”, he said.
We have also discussed the issue of reforms, this is also the purpose of our visit, to see how much has been achieved in carrying out reforms. These reforms should not only continue, but must be accelerated. We need to see how these reforms have been carried out. This is a critical element”, he has indicated.
