I want the Turkish people, Turkish democracy, political parties and presidential candidates to benefit from the election results. The elections are continuing without a problem so far”, Yener said.
Asked when the election results could be announced, Yener said the “results could be known faster than in the first round”.
Voting stations across Türkiye opened today at 8:00 local time, marking the start of the vote in the second round of the country's presidential elections.
More than 64 million Turkish citizens rightly vote in the second round choose between current President Recep Tayip Erdoğan, candidate of the People's Alliance and candidate of the opposition National Alliance, Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.
In the second round of elections, the vote's right will have an additional 47,523 yokes compared to the first round, which have already turned 18.
In the first round of elections held on May 14th, Erdoğan won 49.5 per cent of the vote and Turkish opposition leader Kemal Kılıcdaroğlu, 44,89 per cent of the vote.
