The news has revealed the head of the Parliamentary Group of this party, Besnik Tahiri. He has on this occasion called for reviewing the budget of the Republic of Kosovo and raising salaries in the public sector.
According to him, the economy is on the brink of collapse, as well as citizens are being driven to leave the country.
The government's intervention in the revenue and budget expenditures structure has been very harmful in the country's growth flows by raising tax rates on one side, and on the other by blocking capital investments. For only two years, governance has been blocked by around 500m euros of capital investments, with what has damaged the country's economy for about 200m euros as a result of inflation and the delay in capital investments”.
The second “is related to the public sector, there is a time the Government is talking about the wage law. Over 80 thousand people are victims of government experiments. With any public official you meet there is disappointment” the AAK parliamentary group chief said.
“The heavy socioeconomic situation in the country, created by high inflation rates, increased consumer prices, price price expensive energy, and the decision to raise property taxes, has caused citizens to face numerous difficulties”.
Whether to raise salaries in the public sector would be a solution that would make this situation easier, as this is a requirement of time. This increase would have to take place immediately with budget review, and that would affect increased overall consumption, but also indirectly, growth of salaries in the private sector. If this action does not take place immediately, Kosovo risks emptying and leaving without many skilled professionals”. /eo/
