Alarm sirens were heard in northern Mitrovica, Friday afternoon, as citizens gathered in front of municipal facilities in Zubin Potok, Leposaviq and Zvecan.

Former adviser to Zubin Potok's Municipal Assembly, Miko Bisevac, told Radio Free Europe that citizens gathered in front of the municipality building convinced that the newly elected “chairman, Izmir Zeqiri, is trying to enter the target”.

There are “cars, where he is believed to be located [the mayor] and that he is trying to enter the municipality building”, Bisevac said.
