The first of the magnitude five has felt in Goxun, a district in Kahramanmaras. And the other 4.1 came in about six minutes later.
Although few quakes have been felt, residents have been alarmed by the horror they experienced in February when two powerful earthquakes destroyed entire areas.
On February 6th, the 7.8-strong earthquake hit Turkey with the epidex Kahramanmarasi. Thousands of people died in 10 affected areas, and in Syria, when earthquakes affected. Cities have all been destroyed and returned to uninhabitable with thousands of people forced to flee for shelter elsewhere.
