Speaking of the adopted statement made in Brussels by Kosovo and Serbia on missing persons, Haziri said it was not the right solution for this issue to be addressed on the same day with the draft association status draft.
“Today, there is hope for the family of the missing. It's cut because this relationship will be conditional. At today's meeting, no more expectations have been made, despite all developments, the statement of the undiscovered were accepted by the parties. Unfortunately, it was lost a year for the request to include the terminology under the International Convention for those who were violently missing to be part of the deal, but failed. As such, we can say it's a waste of time and it's been picked a bad day for this deal to be on the same day as the draft association status. Kosovo once again failed to establish the required terminology it had pledges in Pristina by Prime Minister Albin Kurti. On the other hand, the draft status as such was introduced, of course the document as such has not been accepted”, Haziri said on Info Night's show.
According to him, Haziri even estimated that Kosovo would have a serious problem offering eventual evidence for those cases Serbia would continue to hold hostage. It is God who would have all those missing with violence at least to find information and data that Serbia holds hostage. Serbia has all sorts of services for cases that have occurred in Kosovo”, Haziri added further.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, in Brussels yesterday approved the Declaration of Extinction from the last war in Kosovo.
