Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakiq and Deputy Chairman Igor Sibiu have arrived in Zvecan, where dozens of Serb protesters have gathered. There, KFOR troops are guarding the order, until no incidents have been reported.
The security situation in Zvecan, Leposavic and Zubin Potok is currently calm, Kosovo Police say.
We don't have any incidents that we recorded. The police are carrying out their duties according to commitments they have”, Veton Elshani from this institution has said.
According to him, police officials are continuing to stand near three municipal buildings in northern Kosovo.
The mayor of Zvecan, Ilir Peci, has announced that he hasn't been out in this municipality's central office today.
We have appeared in the community office in the village of Lip in the Zvecan municipality. We have not been in the central office because of the” situation, he said.
