Serbs' resignation ? Mitrovica Court towards normality, Prosecution Not

At the Constitutional Court of Mitrovica, the normal situation is slowly returning, following the resignation of Serbian judges. Subjects are being treated without delay, according to lawyers, and the transfer of dozens of subjects to other courts has made it possible. In eight months after the resignation of Serbian judges and prosecutors, the Constitutional Court of Mitrovica has begun to restore normality.
Moving classes to other courts has facilitated work, and now cases are being handled with less delay.
Even Haxhi Millaku, a lawyer who often has a job in this court, confirms this.
When I say they're doing it, I'm pretty much obsessed with the work of judges who've delegated them to other courts... The cases that I have are not prolonged, but rather have worked very quickly and reacted to the circumstances they've had”, Milaku said.
There was another lawyer, Florim Shefqeti.
“The judge who has been a Serb, for some of the defendants, had decided on the request to drop the indictment, while remaining in half without deciding on the next case. It's about trafficking migrants. And other areas that have remained undecided are established by Albanian judges then in courts that have become delegate”, Shefqeti has said.
With more problems due to the Serb resignation, it is having Mitrovica's Founding Prosecutor.
Chief Prosecutor Ismet Ujkan has confirmed by telephone to Dukagjin that the Prosecutorial Council has so far made a decision to transfer two prosecutors to Mitrovica.
One of them started working today, and the other one will start on June 5th.
The two councils -- that Prosecutorial and Judicial -- until the day of the chronic publication have returned no response. / RTV Dukagini/
