At my meeting in Pristina on Monday with Prime Minister Kurti, he did not mention any plans for access to municipal buildings. As a friend of Kosovo I have been completely surprised and must end this provocation immediately”.
Murphy said that for this controversial “development” there was also a call with Special State Department Adviser Derek Chollet.

Murphy has also re-united the American ambassador's post regarding the situation in the north.
