As part of the process of mediating the ombudsman between Union and Radio Television Management, RTK has issued a decision to arrange for the chairman of the RTK Independent Union, Fadil Hoxha, instead of working, which is at the level of position he had had prior to his degradation on five steps that occurred at the end of December 2022.
This happened after the Labour Inspectorate (IP) had made two decisions that concluded that Hoxha's degradation for five degrees had been legalized and therefore condemned by the IP. RTK with three thousand euros in fines.
RTK's decision issued on May 19th stresses that Hoxha “will compensate for the salary gap for the period 9.12.22 to 18.05.2023 in the amount of 935.25 euros”.
General Director Shkumbin Ahmetjekaj has decided that Hoxha will be accommodated in the same position or similar to that of his professional preparation.
The decision, secured by KALLXO.com, says Hoxha will be accommodated at work “leader of the MCR and program scheme”, this position of the same level as the post of research unit leader Hoxha had held prior to the degradation.

Under this decision following the mediation process, Hoxha has pledged to withdraw from all judicial processes dealing with issues that are the subject of resolving this mediation process.
Hoxha had indicted Kosovo Radio Television after degrading from the “account unit leader” in the position “Injier responsible”. He had also requested measures of security that the Court had rejected.
Lawyer Sejdiu & Qerkeyni had taken this case as a strategic indictment to mark new legal precedents in Kosovo in protecting the signals.
Hoxha's degradation began from the pretext that he was not present at his office, at the time he had been at the RTK Union office located in the RTK building in December last year.
Upon receiving this remark Hoxha reported the case in the police as a threat to his union activity, while RTK's management initiates disciplinary procedure, claiming that one of the violations is reporting the case to the police.
As a result of the disciplinary procedure, which was led by Alban Fetah, chief of joint services in RTK, Hoxha is degraded by the “management of the Investigative Unit” in the position “Supervisor”, a position he is not qualified for.
On January 25, 2023 The Labour Inspectorate has found that Alban Fetah and RTK management have violated this degradation and have given RTK deadlines to improve mistakes.
While in April of this year the second scale of the Labour Inspectorate has proved the 3 thousand-euro sentence on Kosovo Radio Television in the case of the failure of chief unionist Hoxha for five degrees.
Fines IP has assigned RTK of 3000 euros remains in force even after this mediation.
