The process is intended to enable effective management of the RTK administration, to increase the level of video production, and to increase accountability to the public, decision-making and founding bodies.
The process of internal restructuring and restructuring follows the first phase of scanning the way the public broadcaster on which a report has been compiled proves that RTK's current organisation structure does not function in line with media market requirements in Kosovo. One of the first steps of reform is to draft secondary legislation that will take place in line with local and European legislation on public media.

Board RTK's meeting on May 3rd with eight votes has approved the General Director's request to launch the RTK restructuring and internal reshuffle process, thus paving the way for the long-awaited reform process in RTK.
The process is intended to enable effective management of the RTK administration, to increase the level of video production, and to increase accountability to the public, decision-making and founding bodies.

Board RTK will constantly monitor the reform process.
At this meeting the Board of Jehovah RTK has also approved proposals that are sent to the Kosovo Assembly for alternatives to the final settlement of the RTK property issue, as well as RTK funding models.
Proposals of funding models are a good initiative to create stable RTK financing, as well as proposals for defining property solve one of the biggest problems of RTK and its staff.
