Minister for Communities and Kthim in the Government of Kosovo Nenad Rassic has declared that he sees no obstacle in the oath of new mayors in Zvecan municipality, Zubin Potok and Leposaviq.
He said legitimacy remains challenging, but the elections were legal.
“I don't see the obstacle, we had an oath last week and it would be a technical, symbolic step, something that we knew about this election is being focused on legitimacy. Normal legality at the moment is challenging”, he said.
Rassic said the process of municipal elections in the north was Ad-Hoc, while adding that elections were held rather than the municipalities without representatives.
I see an Add-Hoc process, the moment it's necessary, after all when compared, whether we needed to remain institutions without guidance, or there was such a thing. I always consider that there should be representation in each municipality, I understand the need of institutions to hold elections there”, he said.
He said numerous competencies for the Serbian List are paying Kosovo Serb citizens.
The “everything is complicated, we are paying the price because of ignoring the authentic Kosovo Serbs. In 2013, in silence, the Kosovo and Serbia parties have agreed that all available institutions are now being delivered into the hands of the Serbian List. Still continuing with mistakes, when I'm saying mistakes, I blame not just one party, but all of them, Pristina, Belgrade and Brussels”, he said.
On the other hand, he said that the Serbian “List” is not a Serbian list, but is just a branch of the SNS party in Belgrade.
