In the statement, embassies and EU office stress that it is important that Kosovo government authorities do not take new measures to force entry into municipal buildings in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan. These organisations also encourage elected mayors to show restraint and take action to represent and serve all members of their communities.
At the same time, EU embassies and offices make it clear that they are against threats or other actions that could endanger a safe environment, including freedom of movement, and that can cause tensions or conflicts. They express particular concern for the security and welfare of civilians, policemen, EULEX members and KFOR. New uniform actions will have a negative impact on relations with Quinti and EU countries.
Embassys and the EU office stress that the EU-launched dialogue is the way towards normalising relations and EU accession. They remind the parties to work together in the next steps for implementing the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia in February and March of this year, including the establishment of association, and to participate constructively and sincerely in future dialogue meetings.

Declaration by the embassies of France, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and the United States, and the Office of the European Union
We repeat our 26 May declaration condemning Kosovo's decision to enter municipal buildings in northern Kosovo, despite our constant calls for content. In this context, Quinti and the EU expect the Kosovo Government authorities not to take any new measures for forced entry into municipal buildings in Leposaviq, Zubin Potok and Zvecan. The elected mayors must also show restraint and take immediate action to demonstrate their commitment and responsibility to represent and serve all members of their communities.
At the same time, we strongly warn all sides against threats or other actions that could affect a safe and secure environment, including freedom of movement, and that could provoke tensions or spur conflict. We are particularly concerned about the security and welfare of civilians, policemen, EULEX members and KFOR. New unilateral actions will negatively affect relations with Quinti and EU countries.
Quintus and the EU stress that EU facilitated dialogue is the way towards normalising relations and EU accession. We remind the parties to work together in the next steps for implementing the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia in February and March of this year, including association, and to participate constructively and sincerely in future dialogue meetings.
