When will public sector workers receive additions to pay? Speaking from MPB

On 5 February of this year, the Law on Salaries in the Public Sector has been enacted, which affected the salaries of over 80 thousand employees. The first salaries under this law are received at the end of February, but not the additions they meet under the same law.
To take advantage of these additions, they are still waiting for four months, since the Commission established on the issue still has jobs.
MPB) spokeswoman Nora Fetoosti has told Gazeta Express that the commission is reviewing the requirements and that after their approval, employees will receive the additions retroactively for all months, since the law for the Salat in the public sector entered into force.
The “Commission for the benefit of extra for specific working conditions is considering the requirements. We announce that the commission's work is not finished yet. After review and approval of the requirements, retroactively they will receive additions for the entire months since the public sector's salary law entered into force”, Fethoshi declared.
It has also shown how much addition can benefit employees in the public sector.
“Conditions which can benefit employees in the total public sector are 10 sosh, and their value for each category is specifically regulated by the Law on the Criminals in the Public Sector.”, says Fetos' answers.
The Law on Salaries in Constitutional
The Law on Salaries in the Public Sector has ended in the Constitutional Court, just two months after entering into force.
This law, the Ombudsman, had sent the Constitution after 104 complaints received about it. Most of them have been for reducing wages, removing additions, or unaccomplished and not equal among the positions stipulated by law.
So far, the Constitution has not made any decisions on this law.
The first warnings that the Law would end in this court had been given since Government kept the monetary value of the cofficiency secret. They were added more on the day the value of the cofficient was established, which is 105 euros for this year and 110 for next year.
Otherwise, the salary law was adopted once in February 2019. But, a month before its implementation began in January 2020, the institution of the Ombudsman had sent it to the Constitutional Court for, as it had said, “the assessment of its compliance” with the Constitution of Kosovo.
On June 30th 2020, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo had declared it invalid.
Under the decision, the law was not compatible with 11 provisions of the Kosovo Constitution.
The constitutional violates listed in the controversial Law are of such serious seriousness that the same impact on the core of the functioning of governance in the Republic of Kosovo ʹ by causing disparity of the division of jurisdictional powers and Independent Institutions”, the Court ruling said among other things.
